Read this before booking your private party

If I book a private party, where does it take place?

You can choose between having your private party at the Marisol studio, on Nobadeer beach, or in your private residence or rental home. 

Where is the studio located?

The studio is located at 12 Amelia Drive, Nantucket, MA 02554.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of guests?

There is no minimum. For in-studio classes,there is a maximum of 24 guests. For classes on Nobadeer Beach or at a private residence, please reach out if your group size exceeds 24!

How far in advance do I need to book? 

The earlier the better! While there is no required "book by" date, our schedule for private parties does book up quickly.

Do I need to provide anything?

We provide all necessary equipment and a speaker for music! For beach classes, some clients like to add a towel to their mat, as well as bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.

Can I choose the instructor?

You can request a specific instructor in your booking request. However, we can’t guarantee your selected instructor will be available for the time and date of your party.

Do we need to be experienced in Pilates or Barre?

No, you don’t have to be experienced. You and your guests can be totally new to Barre or Pilates. Your instructor will ask you about your level of experience to tailor the class to you and your guests.

What types of classes can we book for our private party?

You can book: 

  • Pilates Mat (contemporary Pilates mat class, without reformers) 
  • Barre (high-energy, low-impact, full-body workout)
  • Pilates Stick (the perfect combination of Pilates and Barre using a Pilates roll-down bar inspired equipment, limit of 11 people)

What does it cost to do a private party with Marisol?

In-studio cost is $55 per person with $550 minimum and beach/at private residence is $65 per person with $650 minimum.

What should guests wear?

Most guests wear leggings or other comfortable shorts or pants, along with tank tops, t-shirts, sports bras, etc. You will remove your shoes for your class. For the best experience, you want to avoid clothing that is oversized or too baggy.

Pilates grip socks are required for all Pilates classes. They are for sale at the studio. 

We recommend bringing your water bottle!

They asked for song recommendations prior and tried to mix in where they could. It was a great way to kick off the weekend. Everyone in the group was raving about how much they liked it! Next time I am on Nantucket, I will for sure be coming back!"
