What type of workout is Barre? What type of workout is Pilates?

Barre is a high-energy, beat-based class that uses controlled, isometric movements in addition to full-range of motion to give you a deeply challenging workout. Class flows through ballet-inspired movement, both on your mat and at the ballet barre. Our barre class works all muscle groups for a full-body, strength-building workout. We have integrated the newest developments in biomechanics to modernize the barre exercises you know and love, bringing you the most effective, injury-preventing workout.

Pilates is a calmer in-class experience — a deeper focus on core connection, controlled movements, and breath-to-body alignment. We offer two types of Pilates classes:), your traditional contemporary Pilates flow, as well as , and one class utilizing the Pilates Stick (a wooden bar attached to resistance cords, inspired from the Pilates Roll-Down Bar).

Check out our Class Descriptions for more details.
